Last week, the VolunTrek project team held an international intermediate meeting in Belgrade with the partner organisations to continue advancing the development of the project and define the next steps.
During the meeting, the results obtained in the various focus groups previously held with professionals, volunteers and social entities were discussed. Based on the needs identified in these sessions, the main areas for improvement and the priority contents to be included in the future Toolkit were identified.
To design a useful, practical and adaptable tool, the participants were divided into two working groups to carry out various brainstorming activities. During these collaborative sessions, they debated which resources, content and tools would be the most relevant to include in the Toolkit to support organisations and volunteers in promoting more accessible and inclusive volunteering.
The meeting enabled the sharing of experiences between countries, the exchange of good practices, and the continued strengthening of international cooperation between the project’s partner organisations.
VolunTrek continues to advance the creation of resources that promote inclusion, accessibility and the improvement of the quality of volunteering at a European level.
It was a valuable opportunity to share ideas and experiences, and to continue building a more accessible and inclusive volunteering experience at a European level.
